Supportive community for people with learning disabilities

Where everyone is known, valued and has a place to belong

The Problem:

When people with learning disabilities reach 25, formal education and structured support comes to an end. Many families describe this time as a sudden “cliff edge”, leading to increased isolation, fewer social opportunities, and a loss of routine and purpose.

We believe no one should be left without community at this point of transition.

Our Response:

Rooted in our Christian faith, we believe every person is known and valued, and deserves to belong. Life Project exists to ensure that when other support ends, community does not.

We run regular groups and activities across 4 locations in Bath & North East Somerset where people can build friendships and grow in confidence.

We also share time together through events such as an annual holiday, helping relationships to grow and deepen.

Alongside this, we support local churches to become more welcoming and inclusive of people with learning disabilities.
